Research Interests:

My research focuses on the genetic basis of phenotypic evolution and the sex determination mechanism in amphibians using methods and technologies of ecology and molecular biology.

We also investigate the genetic diversity across populations and its formation mechanism in amphibians based on methods of population genomics, which offers a scientific basis for biodiversity conservation.

We are also interested in the population status, genetic diversity and threaten factors of endangered animals by combining field surveys and molecular methods, which provides theoretical guidance for the protection and utilization of wildlife resources.
