主要研究领域:
1、昆虫病原真菌的致病机理:以在害虫生物防治中具有重要应用价值的绿僵菌和球孢白僵菌为主要的研究对象,鉴定这些昆虫病原真菌在寄生过程中分泌到宿主昆虫血淋巴中的免疫抑制(或逃避)蛋白及次生代谢物,揭示这些毒力因子克服昆虫的免疫系统并最终杀死宿主昆虫的分子机理。
2、昆虫病原真菌的遗传改良:将外源毒力基因导入昆虫病原真菌的基因组中,使这些毒力基因在真菌中高表达,增加真菌的毒力,加快昆虫病原真菌杀死害虫的速度,提高昆虫病原真菌作为生物杀虫剂的防治效果。
