华中师范大学教授,博士/硕士导师。
博士毕业于武汉大学,中国科学院植物研究所生态中心博士后。2000年7月-2004年6月,在武汉大学生命科学学院工作;2004月7月-,在华中师范大学生命科学学院工作。现任国际期刊《Journal of Freshwater Ecology》、《湖泊科学》、《生物资源》等杂志编委。
承担的教学任务:《植物分类学》、《生态学》等本科生、研究生教学。
研究领域及研究内容:
植物系统分类学、系统发育与进化基因组学;全球变化与湿地生态学;动植物相互作用;环境影响评价。
●植物系统分类、系统发育与进化基因组学:通过交叉与综合运用植物分类学、基因组学、生物信息学、生态学等学科手段,基于形态性状和分子证据的结合,研究植物的分类、系统发育、适应性演化等,为生物多样性及保护,也为我国特有植物、特色观赏和药用植物的鉴定、利用和健康管理提供支撑和科学依据。
研究类群:紫堇属(罂粟科)、水生植物。
●全球变化与湿地生态学(分解):围绕湿地生态系统结构和功能,研究湖泊、河流中植物分解及其对已有全球变化现象(全球气候变化、生物入侵、富营养化)和新产生全球变化现象(如微塑料污染等)作用的响应机制,揭示环境改变对湿地生态系统结构和功能的影响;同时开展湿地生物多样性研究。为受损湖泊与河流生态系统的恢复和健康管理提供支撑和科学依据。
●动植物相互作用(蚁播):围绕蚂蚁对植物种子的传播和扩散(蚂蚁传播/蚁播),研究蚂蚁—植物种子间的相互作用,探讨种间关系(互利共生)的作用规律和机制;同时开展蚂蚁多样性及分布、蚁播植物物种多样性等研究。为生物多样性保护、植被恢复与重建提供资料。
●环境影响评价:开展野生动植物资源调查、环境影响评价(陆生、水生生态),包括规划环评、项目环评、工程竣工验收调查、生态监测等),为生态环境的健康管理和保护提供支撑,培养环评领域的专业人才。
