主要研究领域：
多年来从事棉花抗逆和棉纤维发育相关的克隆和功能分析，在棉花抗逆胁迫的研究上取得良好进展。2009年，在美国丹佛植物中心从事脂信号调控的分子机制研究。回国后，致力于脂信号调控棉纤维发育的机制研究。
承担科研项目：
•教育部新教师基金（200805111023）：棉花干旱、盐胁迫相关锌指蛋白Di19-1和Di19-2的克隆及功能分析，2009.1-2011.12，主持。
•国家转基因生物新品种培育重大专项(2009ZX08009-117B,)：棉纤维品质相关的重要功能基因及特异调控元件筛查分析与克隆鉴定，2009.1–2010.12，子课题负责人。
•国家自然科学基金（30871317）：14-3-3蛋白在棉纤维发育中的作用及其信号传导研究，2009.1-2011.12，参与。
